i seem to be behind the latest news on the latest release of the Ubuntu Linux operating system. Ubuntu 7.10 Beta, codenamed “Gutsy Gibbon” was released last September 27, 2007. this newest release of the popular Linux distro boasts of an integrated compositing window manager backed by Compiz Fusion, automatic printer installation, fast user switching, dynamic screen configuration and handling of what driver to use for your graphics card without having to go to the terminal, plus lots more!
