Android App For LG Application Store
- by Joe Jr Yamut
The Android app for the LG Application Store is broken! While it works well when viewing the available apps, once I try to download one and is prompted to sign-in, it won’t let me. The authentication process doesn’t work. It keeps on telling me that the ID and/or password does not match. Of course, I have registered and already have used that same account on my desktop.
I tried to register using the app itself thinking it might need a separate account for the Android and it is not working either (which is really stupid since the app is just a client, the backend database should be available to all may it be via regular browser log in or through the Android app). Tsk, tsk, tsk.. .
Too bad. There are some cool apps over at the LG Application Store and I can’t even get it. What is even more ridiculous is that it won’t let me download to the desktop so I can just install it manually to my Optimus One. It will say,
“This app can be downloaded on the mobile phone where LG Application Store App is installed.
LG Application Store App (for Android Mobile)”
Seriously?! Can’t you just allow it to be downloaded freely and transferred to the phone over USB or by other means?
Hey LG, fix your app please!
